Alia Bhatt is known to be a calm, composed and cool girl apart, of course, from being a talented and a versatile actor which she has proved on several occasions. One more film that promises to bring Alia’s acting mettle to the forefront is her next ‘Udta Punjab,’ the trailer of which was released recently and got thunderous response too.
However, among a bunch of bouquets were a few brickbats too which included an open letter to Alia heavily criticising her for showcasing Biharis in a not-so-good light. Written by Shefali Jha, the letter appeared on the portal, Newsable Asianetnews. And like we earlier said, Alia is a chilled-out girl, her supposed response was as cool as she is.
Alia posted an image on Twitter which read, “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction, plus a social media overreaction.” Given below is the open letter written to the ‘Highway’ actress criticising her for the way her character of a Bihari migrant has been showcased in the film. Let us know what you feel about the letter and Alia’s character in the trailer. And if you haven’t seen the trailer yet, scroll down to watch it.
