Did Tiger Shroff steal a script?

Kritik Kumar Pandey, a Mumbai-based amateur writer-director has alleged that Tiger Shroffand director Sabbir Khan has stolen the script for their upcoming project ‘Munna Michael’ based on a Michael Jackson follower. He has filed a police complaint in this regard. According to Pandey, he had shared his film’s script with Tiger, and got him on board. “We kept in touch through e-mail and WhatsApp, and then I discussed my script with him for a film titled MJ Return. He agreed to do it,” he was quoted as saying in a report.Three months ago, Tiger allegedly asked Pandey to send him a pilot video. Pandey spent a lot of money and time making this video. They had even discussed the casting and budget. A few days later, Pandey was informed about Tiger’s unavailability since the latter was busy completing a dance film. “Last week, reports of Tiger doing a film titled ‘Munna Michael’ emerged. What was also surprising that the concept, story and actor were same except the director,” says Pandey. He had earlier registered the script with the Film Writers Association. But, according to Pandey, since it didn’t bear the association seal, Tiger and his team had lifted the story assuming that he has not safeguarded the copyright. When contacted, Sabbir Khan says that he has never met Pandey. “How did he know that we have lifted the concept when we are yet to roll out the film,”, Khan was quoted as saying.
