I won’t let success go to my head: Ranveer Singh

To say that Ranveer Singh had a successful run at the box office last year would be an understatement. With both ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ raking in the moolah and getting acclaim for their distinct story-lines, the star, naturally, is on a high. The 30-year-old actor, who completes six years in the industry this year, won a number of awards for his performance as the swashbuckling Peshwa Bajirao in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’, for which he even shaved off his hair.Ranveer, however, has admitted that although he won a number of Best Actor awards this year, he will never let success go to his head. The actor says that winning so many awards feels great because it acknowledges the hard work that he puts in. He also admits that he has noticed a change in the way people interact with him and avoids taking the hype around him too seriously.
After working on a challenging movie like ‘Bajirao Mastani’, Ranveer says he is looking forward to what he is doing next and wants to grow as an actor and explore his abilities. And if you thought that the star will go on a well-deserved break anytime soon, think again. He is currently shooting with actress Vaani Kapoor for Aditya Chopra’s next release, ‘Befikre’ and says he has no plans to slow down.
