Jacqueline Fernandez had come out in support of the Chennai flood victims with rehabilitation work through her initiative, Jacqueline Builds (Mirror March 23). Now, the ‘Housefull 3’ actress returns to her home country, Sri Lanka, to help rebuild villages ravaged by natural disasters there.
“Jacqueline, in collaboration with the NGO, Habitat for Humanity, will work towards re-building homes in Sri Lanka in the coming months. She’d received a lot of support from her Bollywood colleagues, who contributed with financial aid and help. It has only encouraged her,” a source reveals.Jackie confirmed the news, saying, “I will work on Sri Lanka next but we are still in the initial stages of planning. We will do some groundwork after which we’ll take a call on which areas need immediate attention.”
