After getting acclaim for her work in ‘Manjhi – The Mountain Man’, ‘Hunterrr’, ‘Badlapur’ and most recently, ‘Phobia’, Radhika Apte is in a lot of demand. There are strong rumours that director Vikramaditya Motwane has signed her up for his next, ‘Bhavesh Joshi’, which also stars Anil Kapoor’s son,Harshvardhan Kapoor . Harshvardhan will be making his big screen debut in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Mirziya’ later this year. ‘Bhavesh Joshi’ is set to be a supernatural flick and Radhika and Harshvardhan’s unusual pairing has already elicited a lot of interest.
‘Bhavesh Joshi’ has been in the news for getting delayed thanks to casting issues. Both Imran Khan and Sidharth Malhotra were to do the film but things didn’t work out. Finally, Vikramaditya decided to rope in Harshvardhan for the role. Radhika, who has also acted in Marathi, Bengali, Malayalam and Tamil films, says that she enjoys doing them as much as Hindi films, and adds that being a part of regional movies allows her to explore her limits as an actor.
