Akshay Kumar’s courtroom drama film ‘Jolly LLB 2’ which features him as lawyer Jagdishwar Mishra aka Jolly, has been appreciated by one and all. The makers of the film are excited about the success and held a press conference to share their joy. Overwhelmed with the success of ‘Jolly LLB 2’, Vijay Singh, CEO at Fox Star Studios announced the next installment of the franchise- ‘Jolly LLB 3’ at the event.
Akshay Kumar, who says he has never intended to preach anything to the audience or to change anybody’s mindset with his work has surely made a mark on the audience. The film has made a special place in the hearts of the people and about the same, Akshay said, ” Yes, it feels good working on a good script with a new director with whom I had never worked before.”
Akshay didn’t do any preparation for his role in the film. However, when asked whether he has any real life experience when it comes to court, the actor immediately added that till now he never faced any such situation.
Khiladi Kumar will be next seen in ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ opposite Bhumi Pednekar which is a film based on the unhygienic conditions in the rural areas of India. Talking about the film, Akki said, “The issue of toilets is still very serious in India. I urge the media to cover the issue of the lack of toilets in India.”On being asked about any plans to don the hat of a director, Akshay quickly said, “I have seen the state of many directors. I would never want to become a director, I want to be happy in life.”
As the event came to an end, Akshay handed over the scooter from the film to a fan, who became the winner of a contest on social media.
