It’s summer time and unfortunately it is also the season when your skin suffers the most. Here are some tips to keep your skin looking fresh, even in summer.
Mud packs work wonders:
Multani mitti, or mudclay packs are great coolants that also help remove the tan on your skin. Make a homemade face pack of fuller’s earth (Multani mitti), lemon, curd and a little bit of water and apply on your skin.Leave it on for 15 minutes and then wash off with cold water.
It’s important to drink a lot of water.Dry skin in summer can lead to breakouts. So sip on water throughout the day .
Protect yourself from the sun:
Keep a sunblock handy. Use a sunscreen which has an SPF of 30+ and apply it every couple of hours.
Use an oil-free facewash:
Avoid using soap on your face, as it may make it oily , thereby clogging your pores. This can cause heat boils, pimples etc.Use an oil-free face wash to keep your skin from producing excess oil.
Carry a facial mist:
A small bottle of scented facial mist will come in handy. Another thing what many people don’t realise is that touching sweaty and dirty hands on the face can also cause breakouts. So, carry a hand sanitiser.
