INGREDIENTS

  • 8 slices – whole wheat bread
  • 4 slices – tofu slices
  • 1 – tomato sliced
  • 1 – medium onion sliced
  • 1 – potato boiled and sliced
  • 12 tbsp – tomato ketchup
  • Salt and black pepper powder
  • FOR CILANTRO CHUTNEY GRIND: 2 CUPS – CILANTRO CHOPPED
  • 1 – small piece of fresh ginger root
  • 2 – green chillies
  • 3 tbsp – fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 tbsp – brown sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required

PREPARATION

  • 1Lightly toast the bread and wrap them in foil.
  • 2Make cilantro chutney from given ingredients.
  • 3Take one slice of bread and apply tomato ketchup about 2/3 tbsp.
  • 4On another slice apply cilantro chutney.
  • 5On ketchup slice of bread put tofu slice, tomatoes and onion rings. Lastly place a potato slice and sprinkle with black pepper powder and salt as required.
  • 6Now cover the slice with cilantro chutney.
  • 7Cut diagonally and serve.
