After delivering a smashing hit ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ with Salman Khan , Kabir Khan is all set to get the ball rolling with his next titled ‘Tubelight’. The actor has reportedly expressed his desire to shoot the film in the hilly terrains of Ladakh and we couldn’t agree more. Remember his last directorial and National Award-winning film too was shot in the exquisite locales of Kashmir? Now taking to his Twitter handle, Kabir shared a short video standing tall amidst some breath-taking locations. “The hunt for locations begins,” he tweeted looking dapper as ever. The film is touted to be an out-and-out Salman Khan film. Even though both Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif were rumoured to play the lead in the film, rumours suggest that this time around, there won’t be any female lead in this Kabir Khan directorial. Contrary to the popular storyline of most Bollywood films, ‘Tubelight’ will also give its antagonist a miss. Now for once in many years, Salman will not be seen romancing any hot lass on-screen. Sigh!’Tubelight’ is another much-awaited film by Kabir after his last release ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ that won many accolades for the film’s basic storyline and Salman’s portrayal of Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi. According to reports, ‘Tubelight’ is said to be a period-drama set in the backdrop of 1960s. After ‘Sultan’, it will be interesting to see how Salman’s film will turn out to be. After all, most of his recent releases have successfully managed to cast their spell on the silver screen, eventually creating a new wave of period-dramas.
